The Odette Crochet Scrunchie is an elaborately ruffled scrunchie that is all about opulence and attitude, #altkitten. This is an easy statement piece pattern that you can make in any color. Let's get started! 

Tie yarn onto the hair tie.

Tip: You can crochet over the yarn end but make sure it will still stretch.

SC 45 around hair tie (more or less depending on your yarn size, it should be able to stretch still when closed.) close round with a slip stitch.

Chain 4 (counts as a TC), chain 3 more, TC in the same place. *(TC, ch3, TC) in each stitch. Slst closed. Sew in ends.

You'll need: L hook 8mm, Charisma yarn/weight 5 bulky, yarn needle, scissors. Pattern: Chain 11. 1.SC in the back bumps of the chain (10) turn. 2.Ch1. SC (10) turn. 3.Ch1, SC, 8SC in BLO, SC.
